June 5, Fineko/abc.az. The turnover of trade and services facilities with the use of new-generation cash registers totaled 12.53 bn manats for Jan-May 2026.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Tax Service that the figure means a 14.1% increase compared with Jan-May 2025.

As of June 1, 113,935 new-generation cash registersn were installed in the country.

The Tax Service noted that the use of such cash registers makes it possible to make payments more transparently, prevent illegal trafficking in goods and ensure control over the turnover of funds of business entities.
