May 25, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan made net profit of 438.5 million manats for Jan-Apr 2026.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA, this figure is 29.05% higher than the result of the 2025 same term.

For Jan-Apr 2026, banks' operating revenues amounted to 2.437 bn manats (a rise of 14.7% year-on-year). Operating expenses grew by 13.9% up to 1.753 bn manats.

Transfers to special reserves decreased by 9.8% to 141.1 million manats. Other expenses totaled 200,000 manats, whereas a year earlier, income was recorded for this item. Income tax payments increased by 15.65% up to 104.2 million manats.
