May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Deutsche Lufthansa reduced its quarterly loss to €612 million (€722 million a year ago) and exceeded analysts' expectations. Revenue increased by 8% up to €8.7 bn, but fell short of forecasts.

ABC.AZ reports that the company maintains its annual forecast, counting on high demand for flights and cargo transportation. At the same time, the war in the Middle East increased fuel costs by €1.7 bn. The carrier plans to compensate for this by increasing ticket prices, reducing flights and reducing costs.
