May 1, Fineko/abc.az. Apple unexpectedly raised its revenue forecast for the third quarter: the company expects sales growth of 14-17% by June, which is significantly higher than analysts' expectations (9.1%). Against this background, the shares rose by almost 4%, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Bloomberg.
In the 2nd fiscal quarter, company's revenue grew by 17% up to $111.2 billion (forecast: $109.7 billion). The growth was supported by new products, including the MacBook Neo, iPhone 17e, updated iPad Air and MacBook Pro.
At the same time, the company warns of rising prices for memory chips and a continuing shortage of Mac computers in the coming months.
