May 1, Fineko/abc.az. Tesla has announced the launch of a large-scale production of the Semi truck - the first car has already rolled off the assembly line, ABC.AZ inforkms, referring to Reuters.

Deliveries are expected this year.

Semi is a fully electric truck for long-distance transportation with a range of up to 800 km.

The company continues realizing plans for a large-scale launch of new products in 2026. Earlier, Tesla announced its intention to increase capital expenditures to more than $20 billion by investing in the production of trucks, self-driving Cybercabs, Optimus robots, as well as batteries and lithium.
