April 9, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are aiming for trade turnover of $1 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that as part of the visit of Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev to Baku, meetings were held with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the country's foreign minister, Jeyhun Bayramov.

The parties noted the growth of economic cooperation and agreed to step up joint projects, including a $300 million investment fund.

Special attention is paid to development of the Middle Corridor as a key transport route in Eurasia.
