February 24, Fineko/abc.az. The past year has been a year of steady growth and strengthening for industrial zones. In 2025, output for almost 4 bn manats was sold in industrial zones, and products for 1.2 billion manats of them were exported. Compared with the previous year, production observed growth by 21.1%, while exports increased by 13.4%. Currently, output produced in industrial zones is exported to more than 70 countries around the world.

ABC.AZ informs, quoting Economic Zones Development Agency’s chairman Seymur Adygozalov that as a result, last year the share of industrial zones in the manufacture of non-oil industrial products made up 19.1% and in non-oil exports - 33.9%.

"These figures indicate that industrial zones have become one of the main pillars of the non-oil economy. I would like to inform you that as of the end of 2025, 138 residents and 13 non-residents were registered in the industrial zones under the agency's management. Entrepreneurs have actually invested 7 bn manats in projects with total investment portfolio of more than 8.7 bn manats. 82 enterprises have started operations, and more than 9700 permanent jobs created," he said.
