February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Millions of smartphones are imported into the country every year. Many citizens face difficulties importing phones due to the lack of information about duties and registration. ABC.AZ has sent a request to AzInTelecom, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport of Azerbaijan.

Ministry's response states that, in accordance with Article 33-5 of the Law on State Duty, fees for registration of mobile devices imported by individuals for personal use are set depending on their market value.
