Price growth in Georgia for January 2026 is conditioned with rise in prices of local products

12:27 - 6.02.2026

February 6, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, annual inflation in Georgia was 4.8%, with local products making the largest contribution (+7%), while prices for imported goods remained almost stable (-0.1%).

ABC.AZ reports that the National Bank attributes the rise in the cost of local products to rising labor costs, noting that slowdown in wage growth and weakening of US dollar may reduce pressure on inflation.
