February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The number of transactions carried out through digital information exchange system Digital Bridge has exceeded 2 billion.
ABC.AZ reports, quoting Farid Osmanov, the chairman of board at the Agency for Innovations & Digital Development (IRIA), made this statement at a press conference following organization's activities last year.
According to Osmanov, more than 1 billion of those transactions accounted precisely for 2025: "Over the past period, 10 new institutions and 27 information systems have been integrated into the digital information exchange system. This means integrating a total of more than 500 relevant e-services with the digital information exchange system."
He noted that the integration of business entities has also begun through the digital document management system: "Over the past period, 17 universities and educational institutions, as well as 16 business entities, have already been integrated into digital document management, and the correspondence of government agencies has been completely transferred to paperless format. Over the same periods, more than 1,300 institutions have been integrated into digital document management. This means saving more than 31 million sheets of paper and a total of 5,700 trees. This technology is one of the successful projects aimed at preserving a green society."
