January 27, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, Sony (Japan) has announced the creation of a joint venture with TCL (China) for the production of televisions.

ABC.AZ informs that TCL will receive 51% of shares in the new business and Sony - 49%.

Sony will retain control over sound and image processing technologies, brand and supplies, while TCL will manufacture panels and innovate. The joint venture, which manufactures equipment under the Sony and Bravia brands, is scheduled to launch in April 2027, covering all processes from development and production to sales and logistics worldwide.
