December 29, Fineko/abc.az. The term of the tax relief for media entities in Azerbaijan is extended for another 3 years.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the amendment to the Tax Code approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

The 3-year tax benefit for media organizations expires on January 1, 2026. This period is extended for another 3 years. Thus, starting from January 1, 2026, for 3-year term, income of media entities (with exception of audiovisual media entities) from their activities (including advertising income), as well as financial assistance provided by an authority (institution) designated by the relevant executive body, are exempt from taxation.
