December 25, Fineko/abc.az. A system of statistical indicators on the digital economy will be developed in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the State Official Statistics Program 2026-2030, approved by the decree signed today by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the document, realization of the system will cover 2027-2030. The State Statistics Committee is the main contractor, and the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport are the auxiliary contractors.

In this regard, it is expected to analyze incoming requests for the digital economy, including e-commerce, study international methodological recommendations, best practices in this field, and develop a system of statistical indicators.
