Data unveiled on Azerbaijan-U.S. trade transactions for 10 months

November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2025, the volume of trade transactions between Azerbaijan and the United States amounted to $1.059 billion ($19.7 million, or 1.9% more against the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.

The trade turnover with the U.S. made up 2.59% of Azerbaijan's overall trade turnover. Thus, the U.S. took the 6th place in the ranking of countries in which Azerbaijan carried out the largest number of trade operations for Jan-Oct 2025.

Over Jan-Oct 2025, Azerbaijan’s exports of products to the U.S. for $52.7 million were recorded ($65.8 million, or 2.2-fold less than versus Jan-Oct 2024).

At that, Azerbaijan’s import operations from the U.S. were carried out in the amount of $1 billion ($85.5 million or 9.3% more against Jan-Oct 2024). Thus, the U.S. ranks 4th among the countries exporting most of all products to Azerbaijan.

Over Jan-Oct 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $40.862 billion ($1.5 billion, or 3.8% more against Jan-Oct 2024).

Of the foreign trade turnover, $21.637 billion accounted for exports, while $19.225 billion for imports. Over Jan-Oct 2025, exports decreased by $1.1 billion or 4.9%, while imports increased by $2.6 billion or 15.6%.

As a result, positive balance of $2.412 billion was formed in foreign trade ($3.7 billion, or 2.5-fold less than a year ago).
