November 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2025, Azerbaijan exported 718.5 tons of almonds for $2.2 million to foreign countries (2-fold more in value and 2.7-fold more in quantity against Jan-Aug 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported 154 tons (+6-fold) for $856,000 to Russia (7.8-fold more than a year earlier), 308 tons (+2.3-fold) for $544,000 (+41%) to Uzbekistan, 126 tons (+15%) to Turkey for $398,000 (-31%), 71 tons to Italy (no supplies a year ago) for $290,000, 59 tons to Georgia (no supplies a year ago) for $102,000.

This year, for the first time in the last 14 years (official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available in 2011), shipments were made to the Netherlands (0.04 tons for $240).
