Turkish company Fergani Space launches second satellite into orbit

November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish private space company Fergani Space, founded by Selcuk Bayraktar, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayrak, has successfully launched its second satellite, FGN-100-D2.

ABC.AZ informs that this is Turkey's largest private sector satellite, fully developed using national technologies.

The 104 kg spacecraft was launched into orbit on November 2 from Cape Canaveral as part of the SpaceX Bandwagon-4 mission. The satellite successfully separated from the launch vehicle 74 minutes after launch and transmitted the first telemetry data.
