November 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) in Astara discussed with entrepreneurs and farmers the possibilities of developing agriculture and tourism, as well as proposals to attract investments in these areas.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to AZPROMO that information was provided on the work carried out in the field of export and investment promotion, opportunities to enter foreign markets, existing support mechanisms, and an agreement was reached on strengthening cooperation between relevant structures and market participants.

The event participants also discussed government subsidies applied in the agricultural sector, phytosanitary requirements and control mechanisms for the production and export of plant products, services provided to entrepreneurs by the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under the Ministry of Economy, as well as preferential credit and guarantee mechanisms of the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABIF), and questions were answered. entrepreneurs.
