October 30, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan may reach $1 bn next year.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by First Vice Minister of Trade & Integration of Kazakhstan Aizhan Bizhanova.

She noted that despite the growth rate of trade turnover between the two countries, it is still not at the desired level.

"Last year, the bilateral trade turnover amounted to $536 million. Our goal is to bring this figure up to $1 bn in the next two years," she added.

Bizhanova said that a roadmap is being developed for this purpose, and this will define the responsible persons and deadlines.
