October 16, Fineko/abc.az. The acceptance of applications from enterprises for the issuance of employment permits for foreigners in Lithuania has been suspended, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Department of Migration at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Baltic Republic.

"Work permits for citizens of other countries in Lithuania are almost exhausted, so the department is suspending the issuance of new documents," the Dept says.

The employment quota for foreigners set by the Department for the current year is 24,830 people. As of October 15, 20,500 permits have been used. In addition, the Department is considering close to 4,500 more applications.
