September 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has become one of the main importers of sausage and other finished meat products from Russia, accounting for 7% of all shipments.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Agroexport, which refers to expert assessments.

Most of all, almost half of such products go to Kazakhstan (49% in value terms). Belarus (14%) and Saudi Arabia (9%) are also in Top 3. Azerbaijan ranks 4th with 7%. Abkhazia closes Top 5 (4%).

In total, revenue from the export of sausages and other finished meat products from Russia for Jan-Aug 2025 reached $170 million (19% more than a year ago). In physical terms, growth was 7%. Over 56,000 tons were delivered.
