September 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Board of the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture approved "Shopping and entertainment complexes. Design standards".

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, the chairman of the board, Anar Guliyev, signed a new resolution.

According to the decree, the standards will apply to the design of new, reconstructed and overhauled shopping and entertainment complexes with a height of up to 50 m and an underground depth of up to 15 m from ground level.

On the territory of the shopping and entertainment complex, respectively, there should be:

- parking and storage areas for cars of visitors (buyers) and employees of the shopping and entertainment complex (in open areas, inside the building and the complex, including on underground levels, in parking lots next to the building or in a separate building);

- parking spaces for trucks serving the building of the shopping and entertainment complex (in the interior and adjacent areas, including on the underground levels).

Container sites for temporary storage and transportation of solid household waste on the territory of the shopping and entertainment complex are planned to be located at a distance of at least 20 m from the windows of residential buildings, the boundaries of the territories of preschool and general education institutions, and inpatient medical institutions.

In addition, the design solutions of shopping and entertainment complexes, in which, according to the project assignment, more than 50 people are expected to be in one space at the same time, should include requirements to ensure anti-terrorist security.

Measures to ensure the anti-terrorist protection of the facility should include organizational and security measures, engineering and technical measures, justification of design decisions and measures to protect the facility during construction.
