September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Due to the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix, traffic will be restricted on streets surrounding the Baku City Circuit (BCC) starting September 15.
ABC.AZ reports, citing the BCC, that as part of logistics operations for the races scheduled from September 19 to 21, traffic will be restricted from 1:00 a.m. on September 12 on the section of Pushkin Street between its intersection with Uzeyir Hajibayli Street and Neftchilar Avenue. These restrictions will remain in place until the conclusion of the event.
Under the traffic management plan, streets crossing the Baku City Circuit and areas surrounding the track will be closed to vehicles from 1:00 a.m. on September 15 until 8:00 a.m. on September 23. Entry and exit to restricted zones will only be permitted with a “Residential Area Entry Permit.”
Notably, based on experience from the past two years, certain main roads will remain open during the race period to ease travel for residents and drivers.
