September 2, Fineko/abc.az. Beijing supports Iran’s right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy and to the protection of state sovereignty.

According to ABC.AZ, this was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 2 after his meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

“China values Iran’s repeated confirmation of its commitment not to develop nuclear weapons, and respects Iran’s right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy,” Xi emphasized.

He also said that Beijing supports Tehran in defending its territorial integrity and national dignity. In addition, China believes that Iran can safeguard its legitimate rights and interests through political negotiations.
