September 2, Fineko/abc.az. In August of this year, the market share of the Android operating system on mobile devices in Azerbaijan stood at 80.68%.

ABC.AZ reports, citing Statcounter, that this figure is 0.11 percentage points lower than in July and 1.54 percentage points lower compared to the same period last year.

The market share of the iOS operating system on mobile devices reached 18.52%, reflecting a monthly decrease of 0.26 percentage points but an annual increase of 1.46 percentage points.

On tablets, Android’s market share was 68.15%, down 2.54 percentage points from the previous month and 5.19 percentage points from a year earlier. This marks the third consecutive month of decline, with a cumulative drop of 16.8%.

Meanwhile, iOS tablet market share rose to 31.72%, an increase of 2.82 percentage points month-on-month and 5.31 percentage points year-on-year.
