August 28, Fineko/abc.az. The world’s leading automaker announced that the group’s global sales, including the luxury brand Lexus, rose to 899,449 vehicles in July, marking the seventh consecutive month of growth.
According to ABC.AZ, this is 4.8% more than a year earlier, supported by higher deliveries in North America and Europe.
Domestic sales in Japan fell by 0.9% to around 118,000 units as demand declined after previous growth, while sales in North America rose by 4.2% to 250,000 units. Europe showed an increase of 6.5% to nearly 95,000 vehicles. Sales of electrified vehicles, including hybrids, battery electric vehicles and fuel cell cars, totaled 327,000 in July, accounting for more than one-third of global sales.
