August 22, Fineko/abc.az. In January-June of this year, 415 vehicles powered solely by electric motors were exported from China to Azerbaijan, worth $11.2 million.

According to ABC.AZ, this was stated in a report by the State Statistics Committee.

According to the report, this figure is 4.2 times less in value terms – $35.5 million, and 2.9 times less in volume terms – 798 units, compared to the same period last year. Thus, in January-June 2024, around 929 electric vehicles worth $31.6 million were exported from China to Azerbaijan.

Overall, in the first six months of 2025, a total of 1,505 electric vehicles worth $62.2 million were imported into Azerbaijan from 14 countries. This is $30.6 million, or 2 times less in value terms, and 576 units, or 1.6 times less in volume terms, compared to the previous year.
