July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Samsung has signed a $16.5 bn contract with Tesla for production of microchips until 2033.

ABC.AZ informs that the new contract with Tesla was signed amid Samsung's loss of its position in the microchip market. Currently, the company is not receiving enough orders to fully load its microelectronics production facilities. Against the background of high demand, competing TSMC, on the contrary, faces with shortage of resources and delays in fulfilling orders.
