New jobs to be created in Ordubad

July 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Swiss company, based on international experience, will update the master plans of the cities of Ordubad, Shahbuz, Julfa and Babek.

ABC.AZ reports that thw statement was made by the representative of the company implementing the project, Angela Vist.

She noted that it is planned to create new jobs in Ordubad and provide the appropriate infrastructure for comfortable living and work.

"The appropriate infrastructure will be provided for those who want to live and work here. Our goal is not only to change the face of cities, but also to breathe new life into existing economic structures. In particular, a model based on smart technologies will be applied in agriculture, which will increase productivity and create conditions for opening new enterprises and branches," she said.

Vist added that one of the priorities of the updated master plan will be the modernization of infrastructure:

"The expansion of roads, the creation of new public transport lines and increased pedestrian accessibility. The project provides for the introduction of the "15-minute city" concept, according to which residents will be able to receive basic services - shopping, healthcare, education and recreation - within a 15-minute walk from home.
