June 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 24 hours, approx. 10,000 manats were stolen from citizens' bank cards in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that cybercriminals using various fraudulent schemes stole various amounts from the cards - from 28 to 7,000 manats.

The Ministry urges citizens to be extremely careful when handling personal banking data and reminded them that CVV/CVC codes, OTP codes, logins and passwords, as well as PIN codes are confidential information.

"If you share this data with unauthorized persons, you risk losing all funds in the account," the appeal says.

Citizens are strongly advised to be vigilant when receiving suspicious calls or messages with offers of easy earnings, insurance, etc.
