April 9, Fineko/abc.az. After negotiations with representatives of the export sector and lemon producers, the Turkish authorities decided not to impose restrictions on lemon exports, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Trade Minister Omer Bolat.
On Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Commerce announced its intention to restrict lemon exports from January 14. The reason for this decision was unfavorable weather conditions and high demand for citrus fruits in the country.
On the eve of the meeting, Minister Bolat met with deputies, farmers from eight regions of the country, as well as with exporters, representatives of chambers of commerce and agriculture.
