April 4, Fineko/abc.az. Donald Trump's plans to impose increased import duties on goods from almost all countries of the world have caused strong reaction not only in the stock markets. American media have noted that local consumers are rushing to buy imported goods before prices rise due to duties.

ABC.AZ informs that the Wall Street Journal (New York, USA) writes: "After President Trump announced large-scale duties on imported goods, Americans rushed to "add goods to the basket". At one time, consumers could not foresee price increases due to covid. But now, in anticipation of the duties, they are in a hurry. Economists believe that the duties are likely to lead to consumers paying for rising prices for clothing, electronics, cars and many other goods."
