April 2, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee reported that for Jan-Feb 2025, 50% of population's salaries were spent on foods.

ABC.AZ reports that 4.6% of additional expenses were spent on the purchase of electrical goods and furniture, 2.5% on pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, 1.3% on computers, telecommunications equipment and printed products, and 16% on other non-food products.

In 2 months of 2025, the consumers spent 9241.2 million manats in the retail trade network, including 5,066.9 million manats on foods, beverages and tobacco products, and 4,174.3 million manats on non-food products.
