February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakh Transport Minister Marat Karabayev and French Ambassador to Kazakhstan Sylvain Sylvain Guiaugué discussed the potential for cooperation in the field of transport infrastructure, civil aviation and logistics.

ABC.AZ reports that special attention was paid to development of transport routes that contribute to strengthening economic ties and improving trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and France.

The parties discussed the possibility of involving French companies in development of logistics infrastructure within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to further deepen cooperation in the field of transport logistics.

The TITR, also known as the Middle Corridor, connects China and European countries through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
