The Russian side has officially proposed to us that the case be investigated by the Interstate Aviation Committee. But we categorically refused it. The head of state said that it is possible that the factors of objectivity could not have been fully provided: "If we had seen fair and adequate steps from Russia immediately after the accident, we might not have objected to this. But we saw obvious attempts to hide this issue."
