December 29, Fineko/abc.az. On December 29, 2024, the last meeting of the Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan took place this year.
ABC.AZ informs that according to the Council, the presidential decree from December 28, 2024 on the provision of one-time financial assistance to private national broadcasters was highly appreciated by the members of the Council, it was emphasized that this is another step of state support towards strengthening the activities of broadcasters in the field of prompt and complete information and education of society, improving the quality of broadcasting.
The financial resources allocated by the relevant decision of the Audiovisual Council in the amount of 2.5 million manats were distributed in equal parts among 5 national and private news national terrestrial TV broadcasters.
