December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) launched this year the introduction of a single CIM/SMGS e-consignment note, which accelerates international cargo transportation.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to ADY, that this solution allows replacing several documents, speeds up and simplifies customs procedures, reduces the risks that may arise when goods cross the border, and also contributes to development of international trade and strengthening economic ties between countries.

ADY also emphasizes that in 2024, the company continued the process of upgrading infrastructure and information systems to optimize cargo transportation management and monitoring in real time.
