November 21, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the composition of the consumer basket will be revised in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Huseyn Huseynov, the head of the Department of Sustainable Development & Social Policy of the Ministry of Economy .

He noted that the living wage for children in 2028 is projected at 275 manats: "In 2023, the minimum living wage for pensioners was 199 manats, and in 2028 this figure is expected to reach 260 manats. The minimum subsistence level for children next year will be 246 manats. Forecasts for 2026-2028 will be revised to take into account inflation rates in subsequent years. The minimum wage of 345 manats in 2023 was maintained in 2024. In 2025, the minimum wage is projected at 400 manats. The ratio of the subsistence minimum to wages is more than 120%."
