November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that space services rendered by Roscosmos should be paid for so that the state corporation has a market. ABC.AZ reports that he expressed this opinion at a meeting with Russian First Deputy PM Denis Manturov.

"If we don't have a market for these services, we won't have enough budget money," Putin said.

Manturov assured that these services will be monetized taking into account the amendments to the Law on Space Activities. He added that this will concern all departments so that they form their budget.

Putin noted that he understands the desire of heads of departments to minimize their expenses.

"It is clear that the head of any department wants to minimize his costs, everyone wants to receive free services from Roscosmos, and ultimately, therefore, from the budget. If they pay themselves, they will use these services rationally, and Roscosmos will have a market," the Russian leader said.
