November 20, Fineko/abc.az. The fall in the exchange rate of the Russian ruble against the US dollar and growth in interest rates by banks may also lead to a rise in prices for AvtoVAZ products.

ABC.AZ reports that Maxim Sokolov, president of AvtoVAZ JSC, told journalists about this.

He added that prices for Lada cars may rise in 2025. Thus, an increase in the interest rate based on the discount rate leads to a rise in the cost of the product. Sokolov pointed to the weakening of the ruble as a second factor. Currently, exchange rate of the US dollar against the ruble continues to grow.

The Central Bank of Russia on November 20 increased the US dollar exchange rate by another 9.18 kopecks to 100.0348 rubles.
