 October 25, Fineko/abc.az. In 2021-2023, the number of international cargo shipments by Azerbaijani companies from 3 countries tripled, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Subkhan Abilov, the head of the Cargo Transportation Department of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).

"If in 2021 Azerbaijani companies carried out 13,979 shipments from 3 countries, then in 2023 this figure amounted to 42,627," he noted.

"International cargo transportation from 3 countries is an extremely important type of transportation, both from angle of exporting services and from angle of importing currency into the country: speech is about transportation, the initial and final destination of which is not Azerbaijan, but the national carrier. Positive results have been achieved in this direction," the AYNA rep added.
