October 23, Fineko/abc.az. The BRICS countries are exploring the possibility of creating an independent cross-border settlement and depository infrastructure BRICS Clear, according to the final declaration of the summit.

ABC.AZ reports that this initiative complements "the existing infrastructure of financial markets, as well as the independent reinsurance potential of BRICS, including BRICS (Re)Insurance, with participation on a voluntary basis."

The declaration will be distributed to the UN as a common document, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
