Azerkosmos chairman elected vice president of International Federation of Astronautics

October 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azercosmos chairman of board Samaddin Asadov has been elected vice president of the International Federation of Astronautics.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Azerkosmos that the decision was made at today’s meeting of Federation’s General Assembly at the Milan Congress.

After discussion at the meeting, the bureau and members of the committee of the International Federation of Astronautics supported the candidacy of Samaddin Asadov.

This appointment is another clear indicator of the high authority of our country in the regional and international arena. It is considered a high achievement for our country and is a continuation of Azerbaijan's achievements in the space sector.
