September 30, Fineko/abc.az. Diamed Co LLC, a resident of Pirallakhi Industrial Park, which is under jurisdiction of the Economic Zones DevelopmentAgency, plans to export syringes to Russia, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Samira Huseynova, the director of Diamed Co LLC (the only manufacturer of syringes in Azerbaijan).

Huseynova added that the company has already started production of new types of insulin syringes to be exported to Russia in volumes of 2, 5, 10 and 20 ml. And from this November, all types of vacuum blood tubes will be produced. The molds for the new production line were purchased in Switzerland, and the accessories were purchased in South Korea.

In addition, taking into account the demand for three-component syringes in the domestic market and in order to completely free our country from the import of syringes, from this December the plant will also launch a production line of three-component syringes. The production of three-component syringes will be carried out in parallel with the production of two-component syringes, which are considered more modern.

Diamed Co currently produces more than 40 product names - various types of syringes, including insulin syringes, infusion and transfusion kits, butterflies and vasofixes of various sizes. The plant's plan for the near future also includes production of laboratory materials such as sample containers, pipette tips and more. None of these products are currently produced in Azerbaijan.
