September 20, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union may soon announce to Apple the necessity to open a secure iPhone operating system.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to Bloomberg, that EU regulators are seeking to modernize Apple's services and may oblige the company to open the iOS operating system to third-party technologies on the basis of the adopted Digital Markets Act (DMA).
First of all, speech is about giving other developers access to key iPhone functions.
The public announcement of the need to open an OS does not imply the beginning of an official investigation, but in the future the EU may impose a fine of 10% of annual global revenue on the corporation.
