Turkish Ministry of Transport: "Development Path" project to connect Europe, Asia

August 30, Fineko/abc.az. The implementation of the "Development Path" project will ensure uninterrupted transport communication between Europe and Asia.

ABC.AZ reports that head of the Turkish Ministry of Transport, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, made the remark in Istanbul at the first ministerial meeting of the project's participating countries.

"We signed a memorandum of understanding between Türkiye, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar on the 'Development Path' project. Today we held the first meeting of the ministerial council in Türkiye," said Uraloglu.

He emphasized that the project is very important for the entire region, as the "Development Path" will allow "establishing uninterrupted road and rail communication from the port of Faw in Iraq to London and significantly reduce transportation time between Asia and Europe through Türkiye."
