August 27, Fineko/abc.az. Az-Tex-Import LLC, a resident of the Araz Valley Economic Zone and Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, is set to export approximately 70% of the trucks that will be produced under the IVECO brand, according to Samir Ibadullayev, the company's founder.

ABC.AZ reports that Ibadullauev said the company plans to export its products to Türkiye, Georgia, and the Caspian countries, including Russia and Iran.

"We have already ordered parts for the first 12 vehicles, and our orders will soon arrive in Azerbaijan. We plan to start production in Sumgayit around November," Ibadullayev stated.

He noted that the enterprise, which will operate in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, will produce 100 light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles per year.

Ibadullayev added that work is currently underway for the production of trucks, with plans to manufacture medium and small-capacity passenger buses in the future.

Az-Tex-Import LLC will also produce lightweight IVECO trucks in Jabrayil, where the construction of a plant has already begun. The factory will employ 80 people.
