August 22, Fineko/abc.az. In line with the Presidential Decree "On the electronization of document circulation between state bodies (institutions)" signed in August last year, 73 state structures have applied to the Special State Service for Communications and Information Security for feedback on meeting information security requirements for integrating their electronic document management systems into the subsystem.
ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Service, that recommendations were sent to these state structures to address information security gaps identified in the internal electronic document management systems used by state bodies during information security audits conducted by the service based on the received applications. Currently, 63 state institutions that received positive feedback on information security are connected to the Digital Document Management subsystem via secure telecommunication channels – the AzStateNet data transmission network.
According to the points 8 of the Decree No 2279 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the electronization of document circulation between state bodies (institutions)" dated August 1, the service is tasked with providing feedback and ensuring secure telecommunications channels for electronic document management systems used by state bodies, as well as the "Digital Document Management" subsystem created by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport that meets information security requirements.
