July 30, Fineko/abc.az. Apple is postponing introduction of Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence features for iOS, iPadOS and macOS Sequoia until October 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that Apple has decided to focus on fixing bugs and improving the stability of the algorithm.

According to Apple, the initial AI features will appear a few weeks after the release of updated iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.

After the release of beta versions of the OS with AI functions, some functions will still be missing. Thus, the updated Siri, which uses local data to answer questions and recognizes the contents of the user's screen, according to Macrumors, will be released only in the first half of 2025.

At the presentation of the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2024, Apple representatives announced that the new neural network, which will be integrated into devices, will be free for users. The developers assured that Apple Intelligence will be able to offer a number of unique features, including personalized text processing in any format and highlighting the main idea or theses from it.
