ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku Metro that of them, 3,061,696 people are privileged passengers and enter the metro without payment.
During the 1st half of the year, an average of 621,952 passengers used underground transport per day.
In general, passengers were carried this year by 12.2% more than in 2022, 5.3% more than in 2023, and 3% less than in 2019.
The Koroglu metro station, which has been the leader in passenger transportation in recent years, also retains its position in the 1st half of 2024. 8.7% of all passengers or 9,827,014 people entered the metro from this station. 8.2% of passengers used the May 28 metro station (9,269,269 people), and the January 20 metro station - 7.8% (8,798,274 people).
