May 31, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from June, innovations will be introduced to improve the microclimatic conditions of Baku metro stations and tunnels.

ABC.AZ reports that this was announced by Baku Metro CJSC spokesman Bakhtiyar Mammadov.

He said that since the summer of 2023, tests and observations have been carried out in the Baku underground in connection with the ventilation of all tunnels, and the state of the microclimate system has been analyzed following the monitoring.

"Given the fact that the effectiveness of this innovation has been determined over the past period, it was decided to continuously and systematically apply it in the summer. In addition to the air temperature at stations and tunnels, attention to factors affecting sanitary and hygienic conditions plays an important role in maintaining and improving the balance of the biological environment," Mammadov said.
